This project seeks to investigate acoustic and auditory response to pre-pandemic noise environments in relation to memory triggering.
A boiling line animation was made over a 1:50 wire and card model depicting a user’s movement through the pavilion, as they trigger audio clips relating to basic objects within the space.

Preliminary sketches explored a more textural approach to acoustic adaptivity within the space.
Scope for the project beyond the pandemic could include potential application to areas affected by natural disasters or warfare, where significant environmental changes can be momentarily forgotten when experiencing audio-induced memories.
